Since its anime release a few years ago, *Blue Lock*, created by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, has become incredibly popular, quickly followed by a second season and a movie. At a recent event in Japan called “BLUELOCK EGOIST FESTA 2025,” it was announced that the *Blue Lock* universe will continue to expand with both a third anime season and a new live-action film currently in development.

So, there’s been a lot of chatter online about *The Brave and the Bold* possibly being delayed until 2030 or 2031, and I just saw James Gunn address it directly on Threads. It’s a common trend in Marvel Cinematic Universe movies that the heroes inadvertently create their own villains. Okay, so I’m a huge Mike Judge fan – the guy who brought us *Beavis and Butt-Head* – and his movie *Idiocracy* just hit Netflix! It originally came out way back in 2006 and honestly, it kind of flopped in theaters. But it’s a really funny sci-fi comedy with Luke Wilson, Maya Rudolph, Dax Shepard, Terry Crews, and a great cast, and it’s become a bit of a cult classic because it hilariously predicts a future where, well, not the smartest people are in charge. I’m so glad it’s easier to watch now!
