Joker: Joaquin Phoenix, Todd Phillips Considered Broadway Spinoff of DC Movie

Back in the day, when “Joker: Folie a Deux” was just a twinkle in someone’s eye, it was initially envisioned as a Broadway performance instead of a movie. Yep, you heard it right! Your favorite clown, Arthur Fleck, and the enigmatic Harley Quinn were meant to dazzle us on stage. However, things took a turn for the cinematic with the brilliant minds of Todd Phillips and Joaquin Phoenix when COVID-19 came knocking. But fear not, dear gaming friends, we’ll still get to see this musical extravaganza unfold on the big screen in October!

This isn’t the first project by Berlanti Productions for Netflix; they are also working on a new live-action version of “Scooby-Doo.”

On Tuesday, Marvel Studios visual development head Andy Park revealed concept art featuring a Deadpool character entirely covered in pouches, a nod to Liefeld’s iconic pouch-filled costumes.
