Perez shared some potentially disappointing news about the upcoming reset of the Marvel Cinematic Universe following the *Secret Wars* storyline. When a fan asked if the reset would essentially erase everything that came before, Perez explained it would be more of a selective refresh. He said the MCU will mostly keep the original timeline intact – around 75-80% of it – while bringing back certain heroes and villains and altering or removing smaller plot points that fans (and Marvel’s Kevin Feige) aren’t happy with.
