As reported by *Deadline*, Marvin Jones III, known for his role as Tobias Whale in *Black Lightning*, will play the villain Lonnie Lincoln, also known as Tombstone, in the upcoming *Spider-Man: Brand New Day*. First appearing in Marvel Comics in 1988, Tombstone hasn’t been featured in a live-action movie until now. While he appeared in the animated film *Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse* (2018) and the *Spider-Man* video game series on PlayStation, this marks his live-action debut.

The latest issue of *Empire* magazine shares details about Dorothy’s part in the upcoming movie *Wicked: For Good*. While the film will show Dorothy’s journey through Oz and her eventual conflict with Elphaba, she won’t be a central character. Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba, says this is a great approach, allowing audiences to maintain their own image of Dorothy. This confirms speculation that we’ll only see Dorothy briefly, as the Kansas farm girl experiencing an incredible adventure in Oz.

The sequel to the critically acclaimed film *Wind River*, titled *Wind River: The Next Chapter*, is currently facing uncertainty. The original *Wind River* received widespread praise and did well in theaters, making a follow-up seem likely. However, despite being finished in 2023, the sequel is currently on hold. Its best chance of being released now depends on a streaming service recognizing the continued popularity of the first film and deciding to pick it up.
