Many adults consider live-action shows to be more serious and realistic, but 2D animation offers a unique way to tell stories. Animation allows for over-the-top expressions, wild situations, and imaginative settings that would be difficult to achieve in live-action. If you’re open to discovering something new, or giving animated shows a chance, you might be surprised by what you find!
We’ve put together a ranking of every animated Joker, from the least to the most impressive, based on his appearances in DC’s animated shows and movies. We’re only considering animated versions of the character – no comic book, live-action, or video game Jokers will be included. There have been a surprising number of animated Jokers over the years, and while there are plenty to choose from, we’ll determine which one is the best.
It’s still unknown how the final season of *Stranger Things* will tie into the work of Stephen King, but bringing in director and writer Frank Darabont is a fitting choice. Darabont, known for adapting several of King’s stories into films, is returning to directing after a 12-year break to work on episodes 3 and 5 of *Stranger Things* season 5, titled “The Turnbow Trap” and “Shock Jock.” He actually started his directing career by adapting one of King’s short stories back in 1983.

This week also brings remastered versions of the *Class of Heroes* series to PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC, including a collection with all three games and a standalone release of *Class of Heroes 3*. Fans of dungeon RPGs can also look forward to *The Quintessential Princesses: Fantasy, the Abyss, and the Magic Academy*, which is coming to PlayStation 5 and Switch.
Fast Cash: Tip Tap’s Coin Spree challenges players to collect coins while navigating courses. Knock ’em Back: Bubble Blaster lets you eliminate opponents by blasting them into lava with bubble guns. And Run, Hide! Phanto Tag is a unique game combining elements of Prop Hunt and hot potato, where players hunt each other and pass around a cursed mask inspired by *Super Mario Bros. 2*.
Franchise director Tymon Smektala announced that due to high player excitement for the return of Kyle Crane in *Dying Light: The Beast* and the game’s readiness, they’ve decided to release it sooner than originally planned. He explained the team worked hard to make this happen and is eager to see how players react to the new content.
The English dub of *Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle* is generating excitement, especially with the addition of Channing Tatum – known for his roles in *Deadpool & Wolverine* and *Avengers: Doomsday* – to the voice cast. While this is a big step for the *Demon Slayer* franchise, his character doesn’t survive the movie. This is a shame, as fans were hoping he might return for future installments in the trilogy. Spoiler alert: The following contains major spoilers for *Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle*!
Having the gems gave Thanos incredible power, and he was right to think he could achieve anything. However, the gems had a hidden drawback: Thanos only used them to carry out his plan to eliminate half of all life, and wasn’t interested in exploring the individual power each gem offered. Unlike Ultron, he didn’t revel in the increased abilities. This restraint might be why many consider Thanos a more nuanced and compelling villain than a standard power-hungry one.
