During an interview on the podcast “Bingeworthy” by The Playlist, Hawley discussed the creative reasoning behind alterations to the xenomorph’s design. He explained, “I made some subtle changes, distancing from aspects that seemed too much like a man in a costume.” His goal was to make it more insect-like and unsettling. For him, what’s truly unnerving isn’t sharp teeth but flat ones because they would cause pain – which gives the smile an eerie human quality that feels disconcerting.

The publisher has unveiled another installment in the Legacy Collection, specifically gathering the Star Force series which initially launched on the Nintendo DS.

Initially released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam) on January 24, 2017, Resident Evil 7 biohazard made its way to Nintendo Switch via cloud streaming on May 24, 2018.
