Image Comics has proven its unique approach works, with several of its titles becoming huge hits worldwide. Shows like The Walking Dead and Invincible are now major cultural forces and leaders in their genres, but they both started as independent comics published by Image. Other titles, such as the quirky Happy! and the long-running Spawn, also show Image’s talent for adapting complex stories for TV and film. Despite these successes, Image still has a wealth of creative, large-scale stories with compelling characters that could form the basis for entirely new movie universes.

Throughout the team’s history, several key members have seemingly died in dramatic fashion, causing significant shifts within the group. However, they’ve all eventually returned. These seven X-Men have each faced death and lived to share their experiences.

In the book, Jar Jar shares his story with a young boy named Mapo, who wants to learn from him, and Jar Jar welcomes the companionship.

The 2025 film, Predator: Badlands, built on the success of the new direction established by the franchise’s creator. Tratchenberg’s approach proved so effective that viewers found the movie surprisingly easy to follow, even without relying on subtitles. One fan, posting on X (formerly Twitter) as X Force 137, jokingly noted they didn’t even realize subtitles were available and still thoroughly enjoyed the film.

Superheroes often clash with each other, but their conflicts are nothing compared to the intense, long-lasting hatred they share with supervillains. Unlike typical criminals who just commit robberies, these villains obsessively focus on tormenting and defeating their heroic rivals. These epic battles are a major reason DC Comics has become such a dominant force in the comic book world, fueling many of its most popular stories.
