With April here, the streaming service has started showing season two of Dorohedoro and has many more popular shows planned for release. Netflix Anime recently announced eight new series coming in April and May 2026, building on previously confirmed April additions. While specific dates are still to come, What’s on Netflix reports that Spy x Family will premiere on April 4th, 2026. Currently, it’s unclear how many seasons will be available at first, but Netflix plans to eventually add all three.

While many anime heroes get satisfying endings, some shows aren’t afraid to kill off their main characters in heartbreaking ways. Sometimes, these tragic deaths feel earned – characters like Eren from Attack on Titan and Light from Death Note, despite being captivating, bring about their own downfalls through their choices. But the most devastating fates belong to those protagonists who die even though they deserve to live.

Both ThunderCats and SilverHawks were animated series created by Rankin/Bass Productions, and they shared some common elements. While both shows featured aliens and exciting fights with advanced technology, SilverHawks took place mainly in outer space, giving it a stronger focus on cosmic adventures.

Good news for fans! Crunchyroll is now taking pre-orders for a special collector’s edition Blu-ray of Season 2. This set includes all 12 episodes, a 76-page booklet with production details, and three exclusive character art cards. Currently, the main storyline focuses on fighting the Yōtei Six, leading up to events called Incursions. The ultimate goal of the raid is to defeat their leader, Lord Saito. It’s interesting that the story mentions both “The Dragon” and Saito as separate enemies, suggesting there might be multiple stages to the fight. This could mean “The Dragon” is a second, more challenging phase that Lord Saito will transform into, which would be a natural fit for a complex raid.

Wow, Project Hail Mary is a huge hit! As of today, it’s already made over $330 million globally – and it’s only been out for two weeks! As a big fan of sci-fi, I’m thrilled to see it’s actually being received better than The Martian – critics are loving it with a 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes, and audiences give it a 96% on the Popcornmeter. It just proves how perfectly Andy Weir’s stories translate to film. With two of his books now successful movies, Hollywood really needs to get cracking on adapting the third book in his unofficial trilogy!

Though some traditional fans disagree with this change in direction, it’s a vital step for the Batman story. Just as Bruce Wayne is reimagined for each new audience, his enemies need to be adaptable too. Giving villains opportunities to change and grow keeps the stories fresh and prevents them from becoming predictable. However, when villains move away from being purely evil, it creates a gap that needs to be filled. Luckily, Gotham City has plenty of criminals, and these five female characters demonstrate that Batman’s female adversaries are most compelling when they fully embrace their villainous side.

It’s not surprising to find similarities between the characters in Stranger Things and those in Star Wars – the show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers, are big Star Wars fans. Because of this, it’s easy to imagine the main actors from Stranger Things playing roles in the Star Wars universe.

The game launched in Japan on November 21, 2023, and became available worldwide in several languages after about a year. It retells the original story with fully voiced dialogue and battles, letting players use Cursed Techniques. Beyond the main storyline, the game features new characters, giving players fresh viewpoints and challenges in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen.
