The manga series Night Light Hounds began in 2024 and follows Jimmy, a character caught up in the criminal underworld of Silent Bay City. Unlike other popular anime about gangsters, this series features supernatural elements like werewolves and vampires. Creator Haruhisa Nakata has announced that the manga will conclude with its 30th chapter later this month. While Nakata hasn’t explained the reason for the ending, he hopes to revisit the world of Night Light Hounds sometime in the future.

The game’s biggest issue was its excessive complexity. Combat felt drawn out, with matches often lasting over thirty minutes due to frequent pauses for gathering resources and exploring. Despite this, the game had some good ideas, and one particular combat feature was especially fun. Hopefully, that idea can be expanded upon in a future installment.

The Fourth Wing series, currently consisting of Fourth Wing, Iron Flame, and Onyx Storm, centers around Violet Sorrengail, a young woman unexpectedly thrust into a brutal war college to train as a dragon rider, despite her fragile health. The story follows Violet as she navigates dangerous challenges and fierce competition, all while trying to survive the attention of the formidable Xaden Riorson. Packed with action, mystery, and romance, the series has become incredibly popular and is being adapted into a television show by Amazon MGM Studios. While fans eagerly await the Fourth Wing adaptation, here are seven other fantastic fantasy shows to enjoy in the meantime.
