Battlefield 6 Will Require PC Players to Enable Secure Boot for Anti-Cheat

In a blog post discussing specifics, it’s stated that Secure Boot is essential for boosted security and will enable new anti-cheat functionalities within Battlefield 6. Secure Boot, combined with TPM (Trusted Platform Module), prevents cheats from arising during the Windows boot process by blocking them at their source, thanks to EA Javelin Anticheat. Additionally, EA’s internal team, known as the Battlefield Positive Play team, will be implementing additional strategies to counteract cheating in the game.
