Dario Scardapane, the showrunner for Daredevil: Born Again, told SFX Magazine (as reported by Deadline) that the series will tell its own stories and won’t feature crossovers with the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe. Though characters like Daredevil and Punisher have appeared in Spider-Man movies, those appearances won’t be part of the Daredevil series going forward. Scardapane explained that while characters might occasionally appear in MCU films, the show will focus on a smaller, more detailed story.
