From August 21st to November 10th, readers in the U.S. can vote for 16 eligible titles that will be continued for serialization. Besides these, there are several new titles on the horizon that fans are eagerly awaiting upon their release. Alongside Shuzo Oshimi’s new title, “Me and Bob Dylan (and My Father),” and Masaaki Nakayama’s “The Silent Forest,” fans also look forward to Shuichi Shigeno’s new sequels of “Initial D” and “MF Ghost.” First introduced in the ’90s, the speedster street racing adventure series, “Initial D,” is poised for another exciting chapter with its latest manga installment, “Subaru and Subaru.” With a limited release, we highly recommend it!

Star Trek: Red Shirts #1″ is penned by Christopher Cantwell, Megan Levens, Charlie Kirchoff, and Jodie Troutman. This comic book series delves into the lives of the unnamed Red Shirts, giving them depth and humanity. Although some Red Shirts do meet their end in this issue, its true purpose is to explore and accept the likelihood of their deaths on a Star Trek mission. Contrary to a 2024 Facebook post that challenged the notion of higher mortality rates among Red Shirts, this comic series discards such debates and instead focuses on the tragic yet inevitable demise of the Red Shirts.

Jimmy Wichard was undeniably a character on The King of the Hill who could be perceived as a formidable antagonist towards the Hank family. With an attitude reminiscent of a schoolyard bully, Wichard often left a destructive impact on various show characters whenever they crossed paths. One of his most alarming actions occurred during the second season episode “Life in The Fast Lane, Bobby’s Saga”, where he came close to causing harm to Bobby. In this instance, Hank was forced to take extreme measures due to his rage, dashing across a racetrack and avoiding cars as he went, before physically attacking Jimmy repeatedly for nearly putting Bobby in danger due to Wichard’s recklessness.

In an interview with Variety, director Shakman praised Malkovich for his exceptional performance in their 2014 film debut, “Cut Bank.” However, due to the nature of the ensemble and the movie’s runtime under two hours, there were several scenes that unfortunately didn’t make it to the final cut.

With players, the significance of accomplishments can differ, yet it’s satisfying to witness Mojang finally addressing this issue. It’s unclear what exactly prevented Minecraft achievements from being compatible with add-ons before this adjustment, but perhaps there were internal discussions among the developers. In their announcement, Mojang highlights that certain achievements will now be more achievable due to specific add-ons. The developers seem to generally approve of this, but they aim to prevent the development of add-ons that solely serve to unlock achievements prematurely.

Just like before, Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Rebellion left fans feeling shocked and divided with its controversial ending back in 2013. Issue #10 of Absolute Batman, penned by Scott Snyder, Nick Dragotta, Frank Martin, and Clayton Cowles

In this storyline, Batman confronts the formidable Bane from the Absolute Universe, one of his toughest adversaries across all realities. Compared to regular Batman, Absolute Bane is a force to be reckoned with. In this issue, we see Batman trying to rescue his close friend, Waylon Jones, better known as Killer Croc, from Arkham. However, things take an unexpected turn when Batman himself gets captured by Bane.

Bane seizes the opportunity to disarm Bruce Wayne of his iconic Batsuit and orders Dr. Arkham to conduct tests on him. Interestingly, Dr. Arkham discovers that Batman’s entire body has transformed into a Batsuit.

Instead of being a full-fledged Pokemon Presents event, this brief presentation usually offers an update about the latest developments in the Pokemon Trading Card Game and whichever video game is under production at the moment. This year, fans are optimistic that the announcements will involve updates on the remakes of Pokemon Black & White, but it’s highly unlikely these games will be highlighted in 2025.

As a passionate advocate for comic books, I can’t help but notice the vast, untouched treasure troves they represent – from gritty vigilantes inspired by pulp fiction, to chilling horror comedies, and dystopian sci-fi masterpieces. There are ten extraordinary comic book series out there that are primed and ready to anchor their very own movie franchises. Here’s my list of the top picks:

In an interview with TrekMovie, Goldsman shared that the final season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will conclude with Kirk being promoted to captain and assuming command of the USS Enterprise. This event would lead us right up to where the original Star Trek: The Original Series begins canonically. “We’ll guide the show towards Kirk’s first day of command,” Goldsman explained, “which, by the way, isn’t actually The Original Series. The Original Series starts a bit into Kirk’s command,” he added to the site.
