Adam Copeland Gives Update on AEW Injury Status After Training Photo Surfaces (Exclusive)
At AEW’s Double or Nothing event this year, Adam Copeland faced one of the toughest wrestling challenges in his career against Malakai Black. This time around, they battled it out inside a Barbed Wire Steel Cage, and at 50 years old, moves that many wrestlers half his age wouldn’t dare to try, were executed by him. One such daring move was leaping from the top of the cage onto Black, resulting in a fractured tibia for Copeland. Despite managing to retain the TNT Championship with the assistance of his Brood stablemate Gangrel, he was compelled to give up the belt and undergo surgery on his injuries. Since then, he’s been out of action, and following surgery, he shared an update with fans, stating that doctors are “optimistic” about his recovery progressing smoothly.
