WWE Raw: Joe Tessitore Believes He “Wasn’t Great” in Commentary Debut

On the latest episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, a new voice could be heard, as ESPN’s Joe Tessitore made his first appearance with WWE. He teamed up with color commentator and former WWE superstar Wade Barrett to call the action. Tessitore joined WWE over the summer and has been earmarked for future broadcast plans within the sports-entertainment giant. At present, he’s working on WWE Monday Night Raw, but it’s expected that he will move to WWE SmackDown in the future, where he will join Barrett and Corey Graves in a three-person booth. This transition is set to take place once WWE Monday Night Raw moves to Netflix and Pat McAfee returns to commentary duties.

On “Deep Space Nine,” he portrayed the beloved recurring character of Vic Fontaine across seven episodes during the final two seasons.
