He uses what Clark learns to build this ultimate villain – a Kryptonite Man powered by all the different kryptonite types. And get this – DC also used the series as a way to quietly retcon one of the most debated kryptonite variations ever! It was a bit of a weird story arc, if I’m being honest.

Starring Jason Statham, Rainn Wilson, and Cliff Curtis, The Meg is a thrilling movie with a wild premise: a gigantic, supposedly extinct shark attacks a submarine, leaving its crew stranded deep in the Pacific Ocean. With time quickly running out, an expert oceanographer enlists the help of rescue diver Jonas Taylor to save the crew and protect the ocean from this 75-foot prehistoric shark, known as the Megalodon. Despite a 47% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, The Meg is a genuinely fun and exciting watch.

The popular Trails series turned 20 in 2024, and the developers, Nihon Falcom, are still going strong. They released a remastered version of Trails in the Sky: 1st Chapter in 2025, giving new and old fans a fresh start to the series. More remasters are planned, alongside completely new games that continue the ongoing story. The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon came out in Japan in 2024, and will be available in English this January. A demo is now available, letting fans play it even sooner.

The popular manga and anime series Kochikame: Tokyo Beat Cop is getting a new anime project! This announcement was made at Jump Festa 2026, and it’s a celebration of the manga’s 50th anniversary since it first appeared in Shonen Jump magazine. Details are still coming, but a first look at the new anime has been released and is available to view.
