The upcoming remake of “Silent Hill 2,” a collaboration between Konami and Bloober Team, is almost here, and ahead of its launch, there’s been an abundance of positive reviews. For a while, many had doubts about this remake, but the reception has definitely improved, even garnering enthusiasm from the original “Silent Hill 2” director himself.
This year in May, Nintendo officially announced plans to reveal its eagerly awaited next-generation console before April 2025. However, since then, they’ve remained tight-lipped about the matter. Previous speculations hinted at a September unveiling for the Nintendo Switch 2 (or whatever they eventually decide to call it), but when that didn’t occur, doubts have arisen as to whether Nintendo will reveal the console at all this year.
Last week saw the launch of the remake for “Until Dawn,” a highly-praised 2015 horror adventure game, now optimized and upgraded for PS5 and PC. It’s worth noting that this is the very first time “Until Dawn” has been playable on PC, but it appears to have garnered limited interest since its debut.

Now that the reviews are live, it seems that the developer Bloober Team has successfully accomplished what many thought was impossible.
The Until Dawn movie, which was officially announced as under development in January and began filming in August, has achieved another significant step in its production process.
Initially released in 2015, “Until Dawn” was a stunning surprise coming from an unrecognized studio at the time. This horror adventure game garnered widespread acclaim due to its teen horror camp vibe, its ability to create real fear, its innovative choice and consequence mechanics, the impressive acting of its A-list cast, and more. In the following eight years, developer Supermassive Games has created several similar interactive horror adventure games such as “The Quarry” and “The Dark Pictures Anthology”. However, despite their varying successes, none have quite matched the heights achieved with the game that sparked it all.
