Like many Pokémon fans, I was initially worried about the new FireRed and LeafGreen releases on Switch. However, despite those concerns, I’m genuinely excited – more so than I’ve been about a Pokémon game in a long time! These re-releases are finally making a long-held dream of mine a reality. While they might be a bit expensive, Nintendo’s approach offers several advantages over playing the older games through emulation.

He offered encouragement to whoever takes on the project, saying, “If anyone wants to try it, go for it!” Bale fondly remembered making the original film with director Mary Harron, calling it a great experience. While he admitted he doesn’t know anything about the new version, he expressed admiration for anyone willing to take on such a challenge, saying he appreciates “brave people.”
For those who enjoyed the popular MTV show Teen Wolf, the original 1985 movie it’s based on is now available to stream on Prime Video, starting March 1st. The film, directed by Rod Daniel, stars Michael J. Fox as Scott Howard – the character who inspired Tyler Posey’s Scott McCall in the series. It’s a classic story about a shy teenager who unexpectedly discovers he’s a werewolf, changing his life forever.

The events of DC K.O. put Superman in a tough situation. Darkseid, now incredibly powerful, invaded the main universe, starting with the future and moving toward the present. The only way to defeat him was to become King Omega, a being as powerful as Darkseid himself. Superman nearly achieved this, but Lex Luthor betrayed him at the last minute. However, as DC K.O. ends, Superman returns and gains the power he needs to finally become King Omega.
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man last appeared in the popular 2021 film Spider-Man: No Way Home, which concluded the first three movies of his story within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Typically, heroes in the MCU get a three-movie arc, and then their individual storylines wrap up. However, due to Spider-Man’s continued success, Marvel Studios wants to keep making solo films featuring the character. For his next adventure, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, they’re taking a big risk and making a significant change to the formula.
This week, SoulGame Studio released their game, Minishoot Adventures, on consoles. Originally launched in 2024, it’s a fast-paced, twin-stick shooter combined with the exploration of a Metroidvania. Players control and upgrade a spaceship throughout the game. Minishoot Adventures is now available on Xbox consoles – including Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One – and is also included with Xbox Game Pass for both console and PC players.
Ubisoft recently shared updates about the future of the Assassin’s Creed series on their blog. They discussed Assassin’s Creed Shadows, as well as two other upcoming projects – a single-player game called Codename Hexe with a darker tone, and a multiplayer title known as Codename Invictus. They then addressed the recent rumors that have been circulating.
I have a lot of fond memories of playing Guitar Hero with friends – it was a go-to game for parties and casual hangouts. So, when I heard RedOctane Games is releasing a new Guitar Hero game, Stage Tour, in 2026, it instantly brought back those good times! I’m really excited to play with the plastic guitar controller again. And actually, there’s another rhythm game I’d love to revisit, too.
