The popular historical film Gladiator, directed by Ridley Scott and earning $466 million worldwide, became available on Peacock on December 1st. While a sequel, Gladiator II, was released in 2024, it isn’t currently available on the streaming service.

It’s exciting to see a new wave of heroes emerge in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Marvel Studios seems to be building towards team-ups like a Young Avengers or Champions group, these characters are currently strong enough to stand on their own. Interestingly, not all of these heroes’ children inherit powers – some choose to avoid the superhero life, while others are successfully carrying on their parents’ legacies.

For the next 24 hours, PC players on the Epic Games Store can download Jurassic World Evolution 2, developed by Frontier Developments in the UK. Wow, it’s been fifteen years since The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya came out! It feels like a lot of people have forgotten about it, and the whole Haruhi Suzumiya series has kind of faded from view. But honestly, it still holds up as one of the best anime movies ever. If you haven’t seen it, you’re seriously missing out – you absolutely need to give it a watch!

With the arrival of new hire Bitta, James Ohlen, a co-founder of the studio behind the game Exodus, is leaving his leadership role. According to Hasbro, Ohlen felt he had completed his work and wanted to transition leadership to the rest of the team. He’s also expressed a desire to focus more on creative work for tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons at Wizards of the Coast.

I was really saddened to hear that She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is leaving Netflix, but honestly, we’ve been bracing for this for a while. It’s already happened to other DreamWorks shows when their licenses run out. It’s so frustrating knowing all the incredible work from so many talented people might not be easily available anymore, and there’s nothing the showrunners can do about it. I’m really hoping She-Ra finds a new home, maybe even a full DVD release, but it’s tough. It feels like queer art is often just… erased. So please, if you love the show, watch it while you can and try to preserve it in any way you can. The future of its legacy really rests with the fans now.
