While promoting his new horror film, Send Help, Sam Raimi spoke with Cinema Blend about Spider-Man 4. He clarified that they never auditioned actresses for villain roles. Raimi mentioned discussing the Vulture with John Malkovich, but the film ultimately didn’t move forward. This seems to dismiss long-standing rumors that either Black Cat or a new female villain called “Vulturess” would appear in the canceled sequel, despite previous hints to the contrary.

Jason Momoa is set to play Lobo, the alien bounty hunter known for his distinctive, almost spray-painted appearance. Momoa seems thrilled about the role, and in an interview with ScreenRant about his upcoming film with Dave Bautista, The Wrecking Crew, he expressed hope that he’ll be able to continue playing Lobo in future projects.

George Lucas generally supported this understanding of the Force, often describing the dark side as a destructive, parasitic force – almost like a cancer. He explained that Anakin brought balance back to the galaxy by destroying the Emperor and defeating the dark side, seeing the light side as representing life and the dark side as death. This balance, he believed, meant the light side should prevail to allow the universe to thrive. However, Lucas later seemed to change his perspective.

Taika Waititi recently told Screen Daily that his new film, Klara and the Sun, is expected to be released this year. While a specific date hasn’t been set, he says discussions with Sony are underway, and they’re considering a potential debut at film festivals.

Emberville is the first game from independent developer Cygnus Cross. It’s been in development since 2023, and the first official trailer has just been released. Season 3 of School Spirits is now streaming on Paramount+. The show follows Maddie Nears, played by Peyton List, a teenager who’s investigating her own disappearance from the afterlife. As she solves the mystery, she uncovers more secrets and lies than she ever expected. Last season, Maddie briefly returned to the living world, but her best friend Simon (Kristian Ventura) was left behind, and her spirit boyfriend, Wally, was left facing a difficult choice. This season promises even more drama with the addition of horror legend Jennifer Tilly as a new villain.
