I remember mentioning the visual filter in my review, and honestly, I was pretty disappointed you couldn’t turn it off. Thankfully, the PC version does let you disable it, but it felt really strange that consoles didn’t have that option. It’s awesome to see the developers are already working on fixing this before the game comes out on March 12th – that’s a great sign!
Many dedicated fans are hoping Palworld will receive continuous, large updates for years, similar to No Man’s Sky. However, the developers believe this is unlikely. Not only are there technical limitations with the game’s engine, but they also feel that constantly adding more levels and content to a survival crafting game would eventually make it overly complex and bloated.

Yomawari: Lost in the Dark was originally released in Japan on April 21, 2022 for PlayStation 4 and Switch. It became available worldwide on PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC (via Steam) on October 25, 2022.
You’ll get a chance to play Shinigami Hime to Ishokan no Kaibutsu for the first time at Happinet Game Fes! 2026, held at Bellesalle Akihabara from March 28th to 29th.
The demo lets you play the beginning of the game freely, but any progress you make in the demo won’t transfer to the complete game.
