If you’re looking for a thrilling watch, now’s a great time to check out The Prophecy. This 1995 film, which marked Gregory Widen’s first time directing a feature film, recently became available on Paramount+. The movie kicks off a five-film series and tells the story of a heavenly conflict that descends to Earth. The dangerous angel Gabriel arrives, searching for the most wicked person to help him win a war in Heaven. When a priest-turned-police officer tries to protect a young girl who unknowingly possesses this crucial soul, he gets pulled into this epic battle.

Following the second season of Bridgerton, several key characters have been noticeably absent or had reduced roles. Regé-Jean Page, who played Simon Basset, didn’t return, and Phoebe Dynevor’s Daphne appeared less and less, eventually not appearing at all in Season 3. This trend continued in Season 3 and into Season 4 with Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate (Simone Ashley), who have minimal screen time and only make a brief return later in Season 4.

Two years after the events established in the Monsterverse, the team arrived on Skull Island, the home of Kong. This marked a significant shift for the second season of Monarch. The Titans are no longer hidden; the explosive events of G-Day were just the start, and now these massive creatures are openly causing destruction. Fittingly, the first episode of Season 2 ended with a new Titan appearing from the Axis Mundi – one so powerful that even Kong couldn’t stop it. Disturbingly, Monarch is responsible for its emergence.

So, Sony’s been working with AMD, and they’ve really upped their game with this new tech called FSR 4. Basically, it makes games look sharper and run smoother. Mark Cerny, one of the big guys at PlayStation, said they’ve spent the last six months polishing it specifically for the PS5 Pro, so we’re getting the very best version of this tech they’ve created together. It’s awesome to see them putting so much effort into improving the visual experience!

PlayStation’s Spectral Super Resolution technology has already improved the visuals in over 50 games on the PlayStation 5 Pro.

Much of the show’s success is due to Ira Parker, the showrunner and a dedicated fan of George R.R. Martin’s novels. Under his direction, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms captures what readers loved about the books: a more intimate look at Westeros, focusing on the everyday people who keep the realm functioning despite the hardships caused by those in power. It feels like a heartfelt tribute to the source material, staying very true to the original stories with most of the dialogue and character development taken directly from the books.

We expected the hero’s introduction to be surprising, and I was amazed by how quickly people went from being confused to fully on board – even before the trailer was halfway through. That reaction was exactly what we were hoping for.

This episode centers around the Doctor (Robert Picardo), Ake (Holly Hunter), and SAM (Kerrice Brooks) journeying to SAM’s home planet to fix a problem caused by an injury she sustained during the attack on the Miyazaki. When SAM’s systems fail, the Doctor makes a remarkable decision: he volunteers to become her father. He spends seventeen years on her planet (equivalent to about two weeks in normal time due to the planet’s different time flow) raising her and giving her a childhood. Through this choice, Star Trek establishes the most significant identity the Doctor will ever have – a father.

So, from what I’m hearing, Sony’s really focusing on games that are constantly updated – the ‘live service’ type – for PC. But it sounds like they’re less interested in bringing their big, story-driven, single-player games to PC anymore. Jason Schreier pointed out that Marvel’s Wolverine, which is coming out on September 15th, is a perfect example – it’s PlayStation 5 exclusive, and there are no plans to release it on PC. It seems like they’re really keeping those kinds of experiences for console players only.
