A significant new update for Monster Hunter Wilds is now available on both consoles and PC. Update 1.030.010 includes a new quest, a new monster variation, and a host of other additions, so expect a large download.

The update on September 29th will bring two new jobs from *Final Fantasy XIV*: Dark Knight and Pictomancer. Players can also look forward to facing Arch-Tempered Nu Udra, plus new cosmetic items available for purchase, and the ability to customize how their characters celebrate completing quests with new animations.

The Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Deluxe Edition Expansion will soon be available for everyone – those who already own the game, those who buy it in the future, and those who purchase the Deluxe Upgrade Pack. Along with the expansion, all players will receive two new headgear items, and a game patch containing fixes and improvements. The Deluxe Expansion itself adds new costume sets and weapons to the game.
Okay, so this isn’t a huge expansion, honestly. It’s pretty small compared to the main game. But that’s actually a good thing! It keeps things really focused. Basically, I was wandering around Kuttenberg as Henry when I spotted this old, run-down building, and it brought back memories of my dad, Martin, who was a blacksmith. I found out he had a dream to fix up this place and get it working as a forge again, and also to help repair the town’s astronomical clock. So, I decided to take on his mission – use my crafting skills to restore the forge and get that clock working again. It’s a cool, personal quest!
