It’s clear a lot happened between the two timelines to turn the younger Bill Randa into the cynical man who wanted to destroy all Titans. Luckily, the second season of the Apple TV series promises to explain how Bill changed, which makes sense considering the first season ended with a major cliffhanger involving Kong.
The novels featuring Jack Reacher were previously turned into two Tom Cruise films, but fans weren’t particularly impressed. This new Reacher show is a much more accurate and gritty adaptation, capturing the intense action and violence of the books. Plus, Alan Ritchson, who plays Reacher, physically embodies the character as described in the novels far better than previous portrayals.
The X-Files followed FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, along with their colleagues, as they investigated mysterious and often supernatural unsolved cases. Think aliens, strange black oil, and shadowy government figures – it was full of thrilling mysteries!
This season of The Night Agent features several character deaths, but the death of Catherine Weaver, played by Amanda Warren, was particularly shocking. Throughout season two, Catherine served as Peter’s handler, and they were starting to form a close relationship when she was unexpectedly killed.
The next Spider-Man movie, currently titled Spider-Man 4 or Spider-Man: Brand New Day, is coming to US theaters this July. Destin Daniel Cretton, who directed Shang-Chi, is directing, and Tom Holland will be back as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, continuing his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The novel The Ministry of Time takes place in the near future and centers around a woman whose job is to help historical figures brought to the present day adjust to modern life. Known as a “bridge,” she’s assigned to assist Graham Gore, a Victorian Arctic explorer. As they spend time together, a surprising and intense romantic relationship develops between them.
The original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was a groundbreaking RPG by BioWare, and a sequel quickly followed. All three games in the series – including the later Old Republic spinoff – were initially hailed as classics, but they haven’t aged particularly well. While KOTOR was hugely influential when it first came out, it doesn’t have the same power to impress players today.
As a huge fan of The X-Files, it was amazing to see how many talented writers contributed to the show. Chris Carter really drew in some big names! I knew Stephen King wrote an episode – “Chinga” in Season 5 – but I was surprised to learn William Gibson, the cyberpunk master, co-wrote two! And even more impressively, Vince Gilligan, who later created Breaking Bad, was a regular writer for The X-Files, working on a whopping 30 episodes, including some of my favorites like “Bad Blood” and “Pusher.” It just shows how special the show was.
