Starting June 1st, the movie adaptation of C.S. Lewis’ “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” will be streamable on Hulu. This 2010 high fantasy adventure film is an adaption of the novel first published in 1952. The story unfolds three years after the events of “Prince Caspian”, with Edmund (Skandar Keynes) and Lucy (Georgie Henley), the youngest Pevensie siblings, along with their cousin Eustace Scrubb (Will Poulter), being magically transported back to Narnia. They join forces with King Caspian (Ben Barnes) in a quest to rescue seven missing lords and protect Narnia from an impending evil lurking on a mysterious island.

As a movie reviewer, I’d say: While season 4’s finale of “Ghosts” on CBS delved deep into Sam and Jay’s personal struggles, it spotlighted an essential aspect that often gets overlooked in the American adaptation of the original UK show – the ghostly characters themselves are the unsung heroes of this sitcom. Despite being the comedic focus, it’s Sam and Jay who truly keep the ghostly ensemble together. As the only link between the living world and their spectral friends, these two are the ones who make the ghosts’ desires a reality, showcasing their unwavering patience time and again.

First Reaction – Mauler is a creepy late-night horror.

In a stark contrast to its predecessors, the third ‘Paddington’ movie garnered less favorable reviews from critics, yet it remained a delightful installment in the family movie genre. Accompanied by the Browns, our beloved blue-coated bear embarked on an exciting journey to Peru, aiming to reunite with Aunt Lucy. However, instead of just a family reunion, they found themselves entangled in an unforgettable jungle adventure that brought them closer together – perhaps for the last time before the Brown kids grew up. As the final curtain fell on ‘Paddington’s Peruvian Adventure’, several subplots were beautifully resolved, but it seemed that our hero, Paddington, was given a lesser role in the climax.
