The thriller Americana didn’t perform well in theaters earlier in 2025, earning around $500,000. However, it’s recently become very popular on Starz, reaching the #1 spot on the streamer’s list of top 10 U.S. movies as of January 9, 2026, as more people discover it at home.

According to FlixPatrol, the Robin Williams movie Jumanji (released in 1995) is currently the tenth most popular film on Tubi in the United States. It’s one of only two family movies in the top 10, alongside Ron’s Gone Wrong at number four (up three spots from yesterday). The rest of the top five are all action movies: number one, Men in Black at number two, Prey at number three, and Geostorm at number five.

As a critic, I was really surprised by Variety’s recent director’s poll. You know, they asked a bunch of filmmakers what their favorite movies of 2025 were, and Michael Mann—a legend in his own right—chose James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash. It definitely raised some eyebrows, but it’s fascinating to see what catches the eye of a master like Mann.

According to Bodyslam+, there’s growing support within WWE for Drew McIntyre to defeat Cody Rhodes in their upcoming Three Stages of Hell Match (as reported by Sports Illustrated). With the DC Universe just beginning, there’s a growing concern that James Gunn’s vision might be hindering its own success with these upcoming releases.
