As a cinephile enamored with the eloquence of Aaron Sorkin’s dialogue, I’d gladly revisit each episode of “The Newsroom” not once, not twice, but thrice. Yet, despite HBO’s impressive lineup over the years, some gems like “True Detective” haven’t quite captured my imagination as a masterpiece of television. The Southern Gothic mystery series left me longing for something more engaging; it felt like an endless journey through the mundane rather than a captivating exploration of mystery.

In the Dragon Ball series, some female characters tower over typical human heights, surpassing the tallest women in the franchise, while others, like Gure (Tarble’s wife), are shorter, standing only as high as Vegeta’s knees. These characters are either exceptionally tall or have the ability to grow taller through transformation.

James Gunn has announced that Peacemaker Season 2 will debut with a single episode on HBO Max, differing from the first season of John Cena’s standalone series which premiered on what was then called Max (now HBO Max) in January 2022, and continued to stream eight episodes until February with a weekly release schedule.

Initially, when Gunn unveiled the DCU slate a few years back, he mentioned ten projects as the initial “chapter” of DC storytelling. Since then, some projects have been postponed, others have been added, and it’s become evident that they won’t all be released at the pace some fans initially expected. However, Gunn has consistently emphasized that the best way to follow the DCU projects is by watching them in the order of their release.

After a prolonged battle between the Autobots and Decepticons over Earth, the Transformers movies have consistently been box office hits, renowned for their action scenes. Yet, this isn’t entirely what the franchise is centered on. Peter Cullen, who lends his voice to Optimus Prime in the Transformers films, has openly criticized the film series’ portrayal of his character due to its significant deviation from the original content. Unsurprisingly, many fans of the franchise echo similar sentiments. Despite this critical feedback, the sci-fi franchise continues to thrive, with numerous Transformers movies slated for release in the near future.

On their own, Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci have been praised repeatedly for their extraordinary acting abilities; they often become so immersed in their characters that it’s almost hard to tell them apart. When combined, De Niro and Pesci are a formidable duo (it’s also important to acknowledge the exceptional talent of their close friend, Al Pacino). Among the seven films they’ve collaborated on, each one is worth watching, although some stand out more than others in our memories.
