The character Chimney seemed to be on the verge of being taken out of the lab in a coffin-like bag, but fans of 9-1-1 have grown accustomed to accepting that death isn’t always a certainty. Characters have been shot, struck by lightning, and even had their heads impaled, yet they’ve managed to survive. This has made 9-1-1 a reassuring show for those unwilling to watch a main character perish. However, it’s also taken away the sense of real danger from what’s supposed to be a high-stakes series about first responders. In an unexpected twist, Chimney manages to pull through at the last moment, but the true devastation comes when Bobby Nash reveals he’s already been infected. The death of Bobby is the boldest move 9-1-1 has ever made. For the first time, no one can predict what will happen next.

In any case, every live-action Superman actor is an essential figure in superhero lore.
I’m excited to share that I’ll get to watch the new movie “Heart Eyes” starting May 8, exclusively on Netflix. It will stay on Netflix for a good 18 months before it moves to Hulu. This is part of Sony Pictures’ agreement with Netflix, where all their 2025 theatrical releases will be available there a few months after their initial premiere. Other exciting titles like “Karate Kid: Legends” and “Until Dawn” are also set to debut on Netflix later this year. I can hardly wait!
