Marvel Studios is continuing to promote its upcoming 2026 film, Avengers: Doomsday, by showing trailers before screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash. This is the third week they’ve used this strategy. The latest teaser focuses on actors from the X-Men, hinting at their role in the new Avengers movie.
In a conversation with Netflix about the series finale, the Duffer Brothers discussed the logical conclusions to Steve, Nancy, and Jonathan’s storylines in Stranger Things. They always intended for Steve to remain in Hawkins, and Nancy’s move to Boston and career as a journalist highlight her growing independence. This issue picks up with her having turned herself in to the HAND, and, shockingly, she’s brought her husband, Hank Pym, along with her. It’s a bold move that throws the two groups into all-out war, and honestly, I’m hooked to see how this plays out.
I just saw a cool behind-the-scenes photo from Man of Steel that the director shared! It really reminded me how amazing Michael Shannon was as General Zod. He posted it on social media, and it’s a great black-and-white shot of Shannon fully in character as Superman’s enemy. It’s awesome to see these little glimpses behind the scenes!
As a huge Stranger Things fan, I’m really excited about the upcoming spinoff! It looks like it’s finally going to tackle one of the biggest questions left hanging after the finale: Vecna’s backstory. Remember how it turned out the Mind Flayer was always the real mastermind of the Upside Down and the Abyss? Well, Vecna, played by Jamie Campbell Bower, was just one of the creatures the Mind Flayer controlled – basically a puppet. The spinoff should give us some answers about how all that happened.
