Last year, I picked up the first installment of Richard Osman’s “Thursday Murder Club” series in preparation for the upcoming movie, since we had some information about its release by then. Frankly, it had been a while since I read a mystery novel. The concept of a mystery book centered around an elderly club at a retirement home piqued my curiosity. As I understand, the “cozy” feel and joining Elizabeth, Ron, Joyce, and Ibrahim on their quest to solve the book’s mystery were aspects I found appealing.

Although the revival of “Malcolm in the Middle” hasn’t yet been officially scheduled for 2025, Muniz graced the cover of US Weekly instead. In the upcoming spinoff, Soldier Boy won’t repeat his stern and abrasive ways, a refreshing change for fans who find his morally questionable character hard to root for due to his prejudiced nature. It’s exciting news for someone like me who enjoys but also has reservations about Jared Padalecki’s portrayal of this complex character. So, I’m glad that Padalecki hinted at noticeable changes in the character from one series to another, as he mentioned to Variety.

This thrilling issue finally put an end to a longstanding mystery that started with “The Force Awakens”. In those films, we were led to believe that Kylo Ren was the head of the enigmatic Knights of Ren. Yet, in both “The Force Awakens” and “The Last Jedi”, these knights remained elusive, only briefly appearing in Rey’s flashback when she touched Anakin Skywalker’s lightsaber. But now, thanks to this new comic series, we finally get to witness the Knights of Ren in all their glory!
