Despite some debate over how the latest season of Yellowstone concluded, both Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2, and 1923 Season 2 marked the end of their respective series, both offering satisfying conclusions. However, some fans found 1883 and 1923 a bit disappointing, and that negative reaction might actually benefit the upcoming prequel series.
Netflix has bought the rights to turn the strategy game Kingmakers into a feature film, according to Deadline. Christopher MacBride will write the screenplay. Netflix worked with 21 Laps and Story Kitchen to secure the project and quickly finalize the deal.
I recently saw this really interesting film where Bob Odenkirk plays Ulysses, a guy who rolls into this quiet little town called Normal to fill in as sheriff after the previous one passes away. It seems peaceful at first, but then a bank robbery happens, and Ulysses quickly discovers that Normal isn’t so normal after all – there’s a whole hidden criminal network running underneath everything! It’s a cool setup, and Odenkirk is fantastic.
The show has revisited some episodes and storylines, but the comics haven’t explored them in much depth, though there have been a few additions. Many Rick and Morty episodes could be expanded with comics, particularly if approached with new ideas.
