I just read that Sylvester Stallone’s production company is teaming up with Cole Hauser (you know, from Yellowstone) to make a TV series based on the book Blood Aces. It’s about Benny Binion, the guy who basically invented modern poker in Vegas! Even cooler, Hauser is going to play Binion, which is fantastic casting, if you ask me. It’s all happening at MGM+, so I’ll definitely be checking it out.

As a huge cinema fan, I’m incredibly excited about this! Harris Dickinson is going to be playing John Lennon, Paul Mescal will be Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn is taking on George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan will be Ringo Starr. The really cool thing is each actor will have their own movie focusing on their Beatle’s life, but they’ll also all pop up in each other’s films – so we’ll see the band together and how their lives intertwined. It’s a really unique way to tell the Beatles’ story!
The new season of The Lincoln Lawyer begins with Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) unexpectedly behind bars, accused of murdering a former client. This time, instead of defending others, Mickey finds himself as the defendant in a high-stakes case. He must fight for his freedom, protect his career, navigate complicated relationships, and uncover the truth about who killed Sam Scales and the motive behind it.
Before it began, most people expected Task, similar to other shows created by Ingelsby for HBO, to only last one season. The storyline seemed to support this idea – a special FBI team formed, solved a case, and would likely break up by the end of the seven episodes.
