Though often called a miniseries, The 10th Kingdom was unlike anything else on television at the time. All five episodes, each almost two hours long, aired over five consecutive nights in 2000. The story centers on Virginia, a New York City waitress played by Kimberly Williams, who unexpectedly falls through a magical mirror with her father and finds herself in a fantastical parallel world – The Nine Kingdoms – where fairy tales come to life.
It might sound a little silly, but after living as long as I have and experiencing more than I ever imagined, I’m feeling a real pull to try something new. Honestly, I never thought this would happen, which is exciting because it feels completely fresh. Considering my first project came from a place of deep faith, and now I find myself feeling quite the opposite, I’m fascinated by the idea of approaching a new film through that reversed perspective – like looking at things through a completely different filter. It feels like a really interesting challenge.
I was so excited to hear that the premiere of Landman Season 2 broke records for Paramount+ – over 9.2 million views in just two days is incredible! What’s really promising is that the new season is expanding the story beyond just Tommy Norris and his family. It feels like there’s a lot more to explore this time around, and I’m really looking forward to seeing where it goes.

While it was the third most-watched movie that week, behind KPop: Demon Hunters and a surprisingly popular Frankenstein, it’s a pretty soft launch for the MCU. Honestly, the first five days of streaming were lower than even The Marvels – remember that one, it didn’t do so well in theaters? – and definitely behind the numbers for this year’s Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts. It’s a bit concerning, to be honest, as it suggests this new take on the Fantastic Four isn’t grabbing audiences quite like other MCU premieres.
According to FlixPatrol, the movie Life is currently the 9th most popular title on HBO Max worldwide, even ranking higher than The Grinch. However, in the United States, it hasn’t yet broken into the top 10. Directed by Daniel Espinoza, Life was written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick – the writers behind the Deadpool movies. The film’s tagline was: “We were better off alone.”
