Released in 2009, Terminator Salvation starring Christian Bale is the fourth film in the Terminator series. While critics generally disliked the movie – it currently has a 33% rating on Rotten Tomatoes – director James Cameron felt the criticism was too harsh.

While many limited-run thrillers are hits, it’s especially great when a series maintains its quality over multiple seasons, and one Netflix thriller from 2023 has continued to improve.
Few TV shows resemble Stranger Things, but I Am Not Okay with This is a strong contender. With its retro look and the clear parallels between the characters Eleven and Syd Novak, it feels like a lost piece of the Stranger Things universe that somehow landed on Netflix. This single-season dark comedy originally aired just before the Covid-19 pandemic began.
The differences between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings create some puzzling plot holes. For example, why didn’t Gandalf connect Bilbo Baggins with the One Ring earlier? Was Gandalf simply preoccupied with other issues? And how did Smaug, the dragon, manage to survive when other dragons from Morgoth’s time did not? Furthermore, why did Sauron feel the need to conceal himself? While Tolkien addressed many of these inconsistencies in his other writings, he actually had to revise The Hobbit after it was originally published to resolve one of them.
In late 2026, Disney+ will release the second season of Ahsoka, which is expected to significantly impact the future of the Star Wars universe connected by The Mandalorian. Fans can also look forward to the first spin-off from the Star Wars: Visions anthology series, titled Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi.
The Adams Family – Toby Poser, John Adams, and their daughter Zelda – created the new horror film, Mother of Flies. They all wrote, directed, and acted in it, and their older daughter, Lulu Adams, also appears in the movie.
As a huge DC fan, I’m really excited about one actress I’ve heard mentioned for the new Batgirl. The thing is, if they cast her, everyone will immediately want one specific actor to play her dad, Commissioner Gordon, and honestly, I wouldn’t mind at all! It’d be a perfect pairing, but it might create a lot of pressure on the casting directors.
Honestly, Jury Duty completely charmed me – it struck this incredible balance between being genuinely heartwarming and laugh-out-loud funny, and a huge part of that was thanks to Ronald Gladden, who had no idea what was going on! I’m a little worried Season 2, coming in March, will have a tough time recapturing that magic. Seriously, if you haven’t seen Jury Duty yet, you need to. You’ll be missing out on one of the funniest and most delightful comedies I’ve seen in ages.
Although Godzilla won his fights against Kong in their two movies, he didn’t have as big a role in the overall stories. Both films really focused on Kong’s journey, with the human characters’ adventures centered around him. Godzilla appeared at important times, but felt more like a supporting character.
