Regardless of whether they were created by esteemed directors like Martin Scorsese or Christopher Nolan, for a film to truly stand out, it must continue to captivate audiences long after its premiere. As we reflect on the movies of 2010 that left an indelible mark, it becomes apparent which ones have managed to maintain their relevance and are now recognized as classics.

As a thrilled fan, I’m excited to share some intriguing news: According to Deadline, Blumhouse Productions is set to acquire half of the rights to the iconic horror franchise, Saw, from Twisted Pictures. This deal, which follows intense negotiations between the two studios over the future direction of the series, has been a long time coming.

The report states that, at this stage, there aren’t any plans for a new film yet. However, with Blumhouse now involved, it’s clear that they will take their time to ensure that this acquisition delivers the anticipated returns. So, while we may not see another Saw movie immediately, rest assured that this is a significant step in the right direction for the future of one of my favorite horror franchises!
