Why Superman Was Censored in India & What Got Cut

The Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) allowed James Gunn’s Superman movie to be shown in theaters across India on July 7, 2025. However, they required the removal of 41 seconds from the film due to explicit content. Given that I’m currently immersed in an anime and eager for the live-action Season 2 of “One Piece” to debut, it’s impressive how my favorite comedy series acknowledges and pays tribute to such a cherished series.
