Though Taylor had appeared in films since 2010, her role in One Battle After Another is seen as the performance that truly launched her career, establishing her as a major Hollywood star. In the film, she plays Perfidia, a radical activist who leads a group called French 75. Perfidia has a complicated past with Bob Ferguson (played by DiCaprio) and is the mother of Willa (Chase Infiniti). When Perfidia betrays them to avoid going to prison, the two are forced to live in hiding. Taylor won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Oscar for her performance, so it’s no surprise she’s eager for director Anderson to make a sequel and revisit the character.

I just finished watching this new Netflix miniseries, and it’s a real slow burn. It centers around a professor whose seemingly perfect life starts to unravel on two fronts. First, her husband, who also teaches, gets caught up in a scandal. But even more compelling is the arrival of a younger, incredibly charismatic colleague named Vladimir. The main character, played by Rachel Weisz, becomes completely fixated on him, and honestly, it’s a fascinating, if unsettling, watch. It’s less about a dramatic affair and more about a creeping obsession that really gets under your skin.

With this large group of villains, Spider-Noir has the potential to finally achieve what the live-action Spider-Man movies haven’t: bring together the Sinister Six.

In the finale of Yellowstone, Kayce makes the surprising decision to sell the Dutton Ranch to the Broken Rock Tribe, bringing an end to years of violent conflict over the massive Montana property. He chooses to start a new life with his family – wife Monica (Kelsey Asbille) and son Tate (Brecken Merrill) – at East Camp. However, news has recently emerged that Monica has passed away, effectively halting the positive progress Kayce was making in his new life.

As a huge movie fan, I’ve always thought the smartest way to beat a Predator isn’t just raw power, but outthinking them. When you look at all nine Predator films, plus the Alien vs. Predator movies, you see a few characters who really shine – they don’t just fight, they strategize. These are the ones who truly challenge the Predators, because they use their brains as their biggest weapon. They’re the most cunning opponents the Yautja have ever faced, and it’s so cool to watch!
