What’s fascinating is they decide to team up – to form their own kind of Justice League – but with the goal of taking down the heroes who want to *change* things. It turns out this isn’t the first time this has happened either; Veronica Cale gives a quick rundown of other vigilantes who’ve tried to shake up the established order in the past.

Debuting in the United States on May 30th, Bring Her Back has been ranked as one of the most frightening films ever created by the Science of Scare Project. The movie landed at #24 in their latest research. Directed by Danny and Michael Philippou, this film-a follow-up to Talk to Me-is a powerfully bleak and intense exploration of grief. It’s understandable why participants in the study found it so disturbing. The movie is Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, earning an 89% rating from critics who described it as “too dark for mainstream audiences.” Horror fans, however, have found it equally terrifying, giving it an audience score of 79%.
In We Bury the Dead, Ridley plays Ava Newman, a woman driven to find her husband after a disastrous military experiment destroys the landscape. When the experiment goes wrong, Ava joins a team that collects bodies, hoping to find him among the casualties. However, her search takes a terrifying turn as the corpses she handles begin to show signs of life. The trailer (seen below) suggests a thrilling and frightening experience, filled with horrors as Ava continues her rescue mission. The film explores difficult themes like grief, loss, and the undead.
