Like previous films in the series, this one starts with a prologue: a couple of college students break into the house where the original movie’s characters died, and predictably receive the chilling phone call from the masked killer, challenging them to a deadly game. This leads to a brutal opening kill. Soon after, the town where Sidney lives begins to experience a new wave of murders, prompting a lockdown. Sidney and, more importantly, her daughter, quickly find themselves targeted by Ghostface.
As a longtime fan of Star Trek: Discovery, I was really surprised by Mary Wiseman’s limited role in the new Star Trek: Starfleet Academy series. We saw her character, Tilly, transfer to teach at the Academy back in season four of Discovery, so I expected her to be a regular face. Instead, she just appears as a guest star in a single episode of Starfleet Academy‘s first season. It’s a bit disappointing to see a character with so much potential sidelined like that.

Games released a new video called “The Joker, Clown Prince of the Museum.” The video closely recreates a famous scene from the 1989 film Batman, featuring Jack Nicholson as the Joker and his crew causing chaos in a Gotham City museum while Prince’s song “Partyman” plays in the background.
One of the best things about streaming is that movies can stay popular for much longer, giving hidden gems a chance to find an audience. I want to highlight five movies from the last decade that didn’t get the attention they deserved when they came out, but I believe will eventually be recognized as some of the best films of their time.

It’s true that The Napa Boys takes a strange and unusual approach to storytelling. But considering Hollywood’s current obsession with sequels, remakes, and revisiting anything remotely popular, the film cleverly both honors and pokes fun at a genre that’s largely been overlooked.
