The novel The Ministry of Time takes place in the near future and centers around a woman whose job is to help historical figures brought to the present day adjust to modern life. Known as a “bridge,” she’s assigned to assist Graham Gore, a Victorian Arctic explorer. As they spend time together, a surprising and intense romantic relationship develops between them.
The original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was a groundbreaking RPG by BioWare, and a sequel quickly followed. All three games in the series – including the later Old Republic spinoff – were initially hailed as classics, but they haven’t aged particularly well. While KOTOR was hugely influential when it first came out, it doesn’t have the same power to impress players today.
As a huge fan of The X-Files, it was amazing to see how many talented writers contributed to the show. Chris Carter really drew in some big names! I knew Stephen King wrote an episode – “Chinga” in Season 5 – but I was surprised to learn William Gibson, the cyberpunk master, co-wrote two! And even more impressively, Vince Gilligan, who later created Breaking Bad, was a regular writer for The X-Files, working on a whopping 30 episodes, including some of my favorites like “Bad Blood” and “Pusher.” It just shows how special the show was.
Sidney Prescott, hoping for a peaceful life, finds her past catching up when a new Ghostface terrorizes her town. This time, the threat hits even closer to home as her daughter becomes the target. To protect her family, Sidney is forced to confront the trauma of her past and stop the cycle of violence for good.
The new comic book, Star Wars: Rogue One – Cassian Andor #1, is written by Benjamin Percy and illustrated by Luke Ross. It tells the story of what happens between the end of Season Two of Andor and the beginning of the movie Rogue One.

This new Amazon MGM film isn’t a standout; it’s a fairly average action adventure that feels heavily inspired by other movies, but doesn’t quite succeed. It relies too much on imitating other films and asks too much of its lead actors. Ultimately, it doesn’t feel original, leaving you to wonder if the stars, Urban and Chopra Jonas, are enough to make it worth watching. The answer? Nearly, but not quite.
Though Song Sung Blue only made $57 million in theaters (with a production cost of $30 million), it’s been a hit with both critics and viewers. It currently has a ‘Certified Fresh’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes with a 77% score, and an impressive 97% audience approval rating.
Dario Scardapane, the showrunner for the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again, recently explained to SFX Magazine how the show might tie into the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe. While fans are hoping to see New York-based heroes like Spider-Man (played by Tom Holland) team up with Charlie Cox’s Daredevil in future seasons, Scardapane revealed why that likely won’t happen.
