On her drive, she stops to ask a solitary man, Marc Marsden, for directions, startling him with her unexpected arrival. He reluctantly points her toward the lake. However, she becomes suspicious after noticing blood on the snow and quickly discovers he’s kidnapped a teenage girl, holding her captive in the basement of his cabin. He isn’t acting alone; his wife, Judi Speer, is also involved, and the horrifying reasons behind their actions are slowly revealed, compelling Barb to help the captive girl.

Marvin Jones III is joining the cast of the upcoming *Spider-Man: Brand New Day* movie, playing the villain Tombstone. The film is already shaping up to have a lot of villains, and fans are excited to see Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland, face new challenges and redefine himself. This won’t be Tombstone’s first time appearing in a major movie, though.

As a longtime movie fan, I’ve always known Jeff Bridges loves *Tron*, but his dedication keeps surprising me! It turns out he’s a huge diehard – he was famously advocating for a revival years ago, and I even heard he was first in line for the Lightcycle Run at Disney World. But the latest proof? A new teaser for *Tron: Ares* shows Bridges grilling Jared Leto on *Tron* trivia, and Leto absolutely nails every single question, from the film’s origins to incredibly specific details about the *Tron* universe. Seriously, you have to see it to believe how much this guy knows!

Charles Barkley has previously hinted he was exploring options with different media companies as he considered his future. After initially retiring in 2024, Barkley confirmed he had meetings with NBC specifically. However, it wasn’t until an interview on *The Bill Simmons Podcast* that he explained why he turned down their offer. He said the deal contained terms he considered unacceptable and referred to as “bullshit.”

With the second season of *Peacemaker* nearing its end, fans have been buzzing about potential cameos. Actress Danielle Brooks even sparked speculation about a Superman appearance after sharing a photo with David Corenswet, who was in costume. Now, James Gunn has offered some hints about which characters will show up in the final three episodes of *Peacemaker* Season 2.

Jones Soda is releasing a limited-edition collection of four spooky flavors, called Undead Heroes, available only until Halloween. Each flavor is inspired by a character from Marvel’s first R-rated animated movie and will feature that character’s artwork on the bottle.

Even though it’s early days, I have a feeling the new show with Mark Ruffalo and Tom Pelphrey is going to be a hit. It’s already getting fantastic reviews, and I’m really excited to see how this gripping and emotional crime story develops.
