The TV show *Brilliant Minds* returns in Fall 2025, and the second season starts with a difficult time for Dr. Oliver Wolf, played by Zachary Quinto. The premiere shows him dealing with his father’s reappearance and even getting punched by a boxer with a strange medical condition. We also see a glimpse of the future, six months later, where Wolf is involuntarily staying at Hudson Oaks Behavioral Health Services. Series creator Michael Grassi discussed this future scene, and the music used in it, with TopMob.

Early reviews of Marvel Studios’ *Marvel Zombies* are in, and while many are impressed with the show’s intense visuals and creepy atmosphere, some critics feel the story is weak and predictable. Those who previewed all four episodes shared their thoughts on X, highlighting both the show’s strengths and its shortcomings.

Stephen King has seen the sequel to *The Black Phone* and shared his enthusiastic reaction on X (formerly Twitter). He posted, “It’s not as good as the first one. IT’S BETTER!” along with a promotional image of the film, which features Ethan Hawke and a chilling, snow-covered mask. The movie, directed by Scott Derrickson, is scheduled to be released on October 17, 2025.

Viewers are impressed with how much better Marvel Zombies looks compared to What If…?, especially with the animation. The show’s overall style is really grabbing people’s attention, and a recently released poster is being called some of Marvel’s best R-rated artwork yet. Marvel Zombies is part of a growing number of mature-rated projects from Marvel Studios, alongside series like Echo and Daredevil: Born Again, and the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine, which is already expected to be a big hit with mature audiences.

Exploring these teams would introduce exciting new characters and broaden the MCU’s mutant universe. These groups, whether they’re striving for peace or power, could revitalize the MCU, especially after the X-Men are reintroduced.

Perfidia shares a child, Willa, with Bob Ferguson (Leonardo DiCaprio). We meet Willa sixteen years later, now a teenager played by Chase Infiniti. Bob is a single father, still occasionally connected to the French 75 organization. Meanwhile, Lockjaw is secretly tracking down the group, and Perfidia’s old friend, Deandra (Regina Hall), rescues Willa from a high school dance just as it’s raided by the Colonel’s soldiers.

Recently, Adam Trachtenberg discussed with Empire why he didn’t simply release *Prey 2* as is. He explained his decision wasn’t about avoiding what people expected, but rather about staying true to the elements that made the original *Prey* successful. He shared with Empire:

It wasn’t clear until recently how certain characters from the old DC Extended Universe (DCEU) would fit into the new DC Universe (DCU). However, James Gunn appears to have explained his plan in the fifth episode of *Peacemaker* Season 2.
