As a huge fan, it’s hard to believe Stranger Things is almost over! We’re just days away from the final season dropping sometime in late 2025, bringing this incredible five-season run to a close. It’s a little different for the actors and everyone behind the scenes, though – they actually finished filming over a year ago and already had their goodbyes. Now that the end is really near, they’re starting to share what it was like wrapping up. Sadie Sink, for example, recently talked about what she was feeling leading up to and on her very last day of filming – it sounds incredibly emotional!

Kate Hudson recently surprised everyone by releasing her first album, Glorious, and it seemed like a natural step for her to then take on the role of singer Claire Sardina. Her performance was so impressive that even Gwyneth Paltrow was blown away, and she shared her enthusiastic praise on Instagram. Here’s what Paltrow had to say:

Shotz shared on Instagram that after a global search, Stephanie Reddick contacted him in mid-July 2024, suggesting he consider Smart for the role of the demigod daughter of Zeus.

The Golden Globes, and other awards shows, are signaling that 2025 will be a big year for the genre, with several horror films nominated, even for Best Picture – Drama. This success isn’t limited to Hollywood; horror movies are doing incredibly well with both critics and audiences worldwide.

The classic horror film The Exorcist, directed by William Friedkin and based on the novel by William Peter Blatty, featured performances by Max Von Sydow, Ellen Burstyn, and Linda Blair as the troubled and possessed Regan. Although Linda Blair later reprised the role in a sequel and the recent The Exorcist: Believer reboot, Jamie Lee Curtis—who was twelve years old at the time—was also considered for the part.

Let’s be honest, Netflix released a lot of duds in 2025. But even with all the misses, six films absolutely made my subscription worthwhile. Seriously, if you only see six movies from Netflix this year, make them these ones. They’re that good.

The comedy film I Love You, Man will be removed from Netflix on December 31st. This change happens only two months after the movie became available on the streaming service on November 1st, as reported by New On Netflix.
