Then, in 2015, the Rocky story continued with Creed, a new film that focused on Adonis Creed, the son of Apollo Creed, played by Michael B. Jordan, while still featuring Stallone as Rocky. In an interview with GQ, Stallone shared that he managed to avoid having his character killed off, which was initially the director Ryan Coogler’s plan. He explained that he was lucky to escape that fate.
