While appearing on The Breakfast Club morning show to discuss his recovery from a snowplow accident last year, Jeremy Renner – known for playing Hawkeye – clarified his future with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He confirmed he won’t be returning as Clint Barton/Hawkeye in upcoming Avengers films, explaining that he currently has a lot of other projects keeping him occupied.

According to Deadline, Austin Butler is a potential lead for the role of James “Sonny” Crockett. Butler received an Academy Award nomination for his portrayal of Elvis Presley in the 2022 film Elvis and recently appeared as Feyd-Ruatha in Dune: Part Two (2024). The character of Sonny Crockett has been played before by Don Johnson in the original television series and Colin Farrell in the 2006 movie Miami Vice. While nothing is confirmed yet, discussions are progressing positively.
Featuring Margaret Qualley, Bobby Cannavale, and Andrew Scott as Hammerstein, Blue Moon has been highly praised since its premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival. Currently, it boasts an 88% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Critics especially appreciate the film’s unique take on the biopic format – rather than covering a person’s entire life, it focuses on a single night, offering a focused portrait of its subject.
Even within predictable genres, some films truly shine. Many musician biopics are excellent, offering great music as a primary draw. But the best ones go beyond just the songs, bringing something fresh to the biopic formula. They might highlight a lesser-known part of the artist’s life, tell the story from the viewpoint of someone who opposed them, or creatively reimagine historical events to offer a new perspective on a familiar tale.

However, even people close to Dunmire are starting to question the plan for revenge.
The upcoming film, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, will be the first in the Spider-Verse trilogy to fully utilize the expanded aspect ratio available in IMAX theaters. When a fan asked on X if Spider-Verse 3 would also take advantage of this expanded ratio, executive producer Christopher Miller confirmed that it will, stating, “Heck yeah, we will:”
Before the new DC Universe Batman movie arrives, fans have several Batman-related projects to look forward to. This includes a sequel to The Batman, a spin-off focusing on the villain Clayface (coming in 2026), and additional animated content. In 2025, a new DC project will explore a significant aspect of Batman’s history, and The Joker will also be featured.
While the first two seasons of Monster were popular with viewers and even received Emmy recognition, critics had a mixed reaction.
