James Gunn announced that Lars Eidinger will play the iconic DC villain Brainiac in the upcoming film, Man of Tomorrow. This will be the first time Brainiac has ever appeared on the big screen. Filming is scheduled to start in April 2026.

From what I’ve seen, it’s been a really positive experience for him, and he even shared a sweet message on Instagram when they finished filming – it’s great to see the director so happy with how it all turned out!
