Officially announced by the streaming service, Bugonia is coming to Peacock on December 26.

Soon after leaving Netflix, Supernatural quickly climbed to sixth place on Apple TV’s U.S. charts. It wasn’t alone – two other shows that had also departed Netflix that day, Riverdale and Arrow, also found a spot on the list, landing in 12th and 15th place respectively.

As reported by Deadline, Bethany Hale and Lucy Harding will star in The Twelve Dates of Christmas, a new romantic comedy from David Lipper (known for The Neglected and Bride Hard). The film, which reunites the Pretty Little Liars co-stars eight years after the show ended, centers on a career-focused shop owner (Hale) who decides to go on twelve dates before Christmas, hoping to find love.

Fans who enjoy the dark fantasy of Pan’s Labyrinth might be looking for similar films that fully embrace imagination and explore serious themes. Dark fantasy often appeals to viewers because it can reflect real-world issues and doesn’t avoid difficult truths. Though Pan’s Labyrinth is a standout example, other films also blend magical storytelling with realistic themes and create compelling mythical worlds.

Several actresses are being considered for the role of the blonde princess, including Sarah Catherine Hook (known for The White Lotus), Olivia-Mai Barrett (Invasion), and Teagan Croft (Titans). Freya Skye, who recently appeared in Disney’s Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires, is also a contender, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Lola Tung, from The Summer I Turned Pretty, was initially considered but didn’t audition, likely due to other commitments.

Everyone’s rightly raving about DiCaprio, Penn, and Del Toro, and it’s great to see them getting Golden Globe nods. But honestly, the performance that’s really stuck with me is Regina Hall as Deandre. She plays this incredibly cool and collected revolutionary in a nearly three-hour film, and it’s just…subtle brilliance. I can’t stop thinking about her work – it’s truly wonderful and deserves way more attention.
