The movie features several well-known characters, like Bowser Jr. (played by Benny Safdie) and Rosalina (played by Brie Larson). Rosalina has a key role, especially for fans of the Mario Galaxy games, as she’s in charge of the Lumas and protects the stars. However, there’s an even more important character connected to space who could appear in the new film and elevate the Mario franchise to the same level as Star Wars in the world of animation.

Twenty-six years after escaping a masked killer who seems awfully familiar (Ghostface!), the stars of Scary Movie – Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Anna Faris, and Regina Hall – are back in danger, and no horror franchise is safe from their satire. They’re joined by returning and new cast members to poke fun at the current obsession with reboots, remakes, sequels, prequels, and anything labeled a “legacy” story – especially those claiming to be the “final chapter.” Everything is fair game, no horror cliché is safe, and they’re taking aim at “cancel culture” itself.

As a big fan of crime dramas, I’ve been following Memory of a Killer, and it’s interesting to see how its popularity differs depending on where you are. Here in the States, it hit number four on Hulu, but has since dropped to fourteen. But over in the UK, it’s still a huge hit on Prime Video, consistently staying in the Top 10 – it even reached number five! It’s cool to see Patrick Dempsey doing so well, and it’s a bit of a contrast seeing the different streaming numbers.

Starting in March 2026, you can look forward to new original series like Vladimir and The Dinosaurs, as well as classic shows like The Man in the High Castle. But right now, these five shows are truly exceptional – highly praised and widely considered to be among the best ever made.

However, Peacock is working on an animated Ted series, which will continue the story after the events of the two Ted movies he directed. The live-action series, in contrast, was intended as a prequel.
