It’s not just a few people who aren’t pleased with those events, though. During some crowded showings of Minecraft, young audiences are following a popular TikTok trend where they enthusiastically participate in the movie by shouting specific lines (such as Jack Black exclaiming “I… am Steve!”) and applauding fervently at various moments. I attended the film with my kids this past weekend and was there myself. In all my years, I’ve never witnessed Jason Momoa receive that much applause before.

In this trailer for his newest project, “The Phoenician Scheme”, it’s quite evident that Wes Anderson is the director. Each frame carries his unique visual style, and the dialogue, with its distinctive dry and precise delivery, is also characteristic of him.

Today at a Brooklyn multiplex, during our Minecraft screening, Jack Black exclaimed “Chicken jockey!” and many people in the audience repeated it along with him, followed by loud cheers and yells. It felt as if the actual Jack Black had entered the room! The crowd was thrilled; the rest of us were left puzzled.

Throughout the entire season, Born Again has gradually emerged as a significant new antagonist in Marvel’s interpretation of New York City. However, in this particular episode, his demise was swift and seemingly effortless, leaving viewers feeling underwhelmed. This sudden turn of events seemed anticlimactic, reflecting the occasional confusion that pervaded this season of Daredevil, where scenes from the original production sometimes clashed with the tone established during the reshoots following Marvel’s replacement of the series’ original showrunners.

Speaking of horror, there’s always more room for things to go wrong given the abundance of frightening elements out there. In fact, there’s hardly anything more disheartening than watching a poorly-executed horror movie with no suspense, scares, captivating creatures, engaging plot, or characters you secretly hope survive till the end. Whether they err on the side of too many concessions or not enough, it doesn’t take long to realize you’re in for a disappointing ride. This week, we’ll be highlighting the most disappointing ones from the last ten years – yes, the horror movies that have left us cringing since the turn of the decade.

Similar to the initial movie trailer, it’s actually Krypto, rather than the main character, who steals the show, being portrayed as a devoted but boisterous pup by Gunn. In an extended scene reminiscent of the original teaser, Superman is severely hurt and summons Krypto for aid. Instead, Krypto jumps on him, nips at him, and seems more interested in play than recognizing his distress. It’s only later that he understands the situation, and then hauls Superman to the Fortress of Solitude. In this movie adaptation, the fortress is populated by a team of extremely courteous robots.
