I was absolutely floored when I heard the news about Netflix potentially taking over Warner Bros. Discovery! It’s hard to believe they could end up owning everything – HBO Max and the Warner Bros. movie studio! There’s still a lot that needs to happen with approvals to make sure it’s not a monopoly, but honestly, it feels like this could be a devastating blow to movie theaters. I don’t think Netflix buying such a huge, historic studio will completely kill the theater experience, but it’s definitely going to make things much, much harder for an industry that was already struggling.

New episodes of Fire Country Season 4 are available to stream on Paramount+ after initially airing on CBS. The season’s trailer generated a lot of buzz, and Fire Country returned for its fourth season at the same time as the premiere of other shows.

Several shows with very similar themes came out around the same time, and they all competed for viewers. However, we’re only considering shows released on specific dates, not streaming releases, because those can be watched at any time. Even though One Piece has a lot of content – over 1,100 chapters and episodes – fans agree it’s worth the time to get into. The series isn’t perfect, but its flaws aren’t serious enough to dismiss it. Ultimately, if someone doesn’t enjoy One Piece, that’s more a matter of personal preference than a problem with the anime itself.

According to the current DC Universe plans, The Brave and the Bold isn’t due out for a few years. But a movie scheduled for 2026 makes me wonder if we might actually see the live-action version of the DCU’s Batman before we think.
