Okay, so Marvel’s being super tight-lipped about Born Again Season 2 and the next Spider-Man movie, but I’m picking up some interesting vibes. It seems like both projects are going to be really focused on the gritty side of New York City, with a lot of criminal activity. What’s got me excited is the possibility that these stories aren’t separate at all – they could actually connect! We might be looking at a full-blown mob war, and honestly, I’m crossing my fingers for the live-action team-up of Daredevil and Spider-Man we’ve all been waiting for. If that happens, it’ll be epic!

Many promising science fiction anime series falter near the end, despite having impressive world-building and emotionally resonant moments. Sometimes the problem is a rushed or unsatisfying conclusion, and other times it’s a poorly developed main character that even a clever plot twist can’t fix. In the sci-fi genre, like in shows such as Darling in the Franxx and Psycho-Pass, mistakes stand out more because these stories often require viewers to grasp complex concepts and rules. These anime began with great potential but ultimately lost momentum before reaching a satisfying conclusion.

My only slight disappointment was that, at 75 minutes, some of the characters felt a little underdeveloped, and a few of the supporting roles were a bit one-dimensional. However, the chemistry between the two main actors was fantastic! The film unfolds at a slow pace, which actually worked in its favour, allowing you to really feel Isio’s desperate hope for asylum, even if it felt a little naive at times. It’s a really moving and nuanced piece.

Clooney, who stars in the upcoming Netflix movie Jay Kelly with Adam Sandler, was recently talking to IMDb when he was asked if there was a single credit that he felt he should be most known for. Holly Hunter, an Academy Award winner, stars in Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. Paul Giamatti, who has been nominated for an Academy Award, will play a villain during the first season. While Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 has been released, the film series might not be over. Talk of a third movie, Five Nights at Freddy’s 3, began even before the second film was made. Although there hasn’t been an official announcement, a third installment is possible and could happen in the near future.

I recently revisited this film after thirty years, and honestly, it’s still fantastic. Bryan Singer’s direction is so stylish, and the script by Christopher McQuarrie is just brilliantly crafted. Of course, the performances are phenomenal, led by a truly captivating Kevin Spacey. It’s tough to separate the art from the artist given everything that’s come out since, but it’s still a compelling watch. And a fun little Easter egg for Breaking Bad fans – you can spot Giancarlo Esposito playing a law enforcement officer decades before he became the iconic Gustavo Fring! It’s neat to see him on the other side of the law so early in his career.

The Canadian series Heated Rivalry quickly became popular on streaming platforms last week. It’s based on Rachel Reid’s novel, the second in her Game Changers series, and was adapted for television by Jacob Tierney (known for Letterkenny and Shoresy). The show features strong chemistry between the two main actors and tells the story of rival hockey players whose intense dislike for each other turns into a powerful physical attraction. It quickly climbed to the number 2 spot on HBO Max in both the US and Australia.

The news anchor announced on Instagram that December 18, 2025, will be his final day hosting the CBS Evening News. Although his departure was unexpected, DuBois expressed only positive feelings about his time at the network. He thanked viewers for their support over more than twenty years, and shared his gratitude for the amazing people he met while working on the show, describing the experience as an “Honor of a Lifetime.”
