As a huge cinema and TV fan, I’m really excited to see who wins the big awards this year! Some of the shows that are leading the pack are Apple’s *Severance*, HBO’s *The Last of Us*, and the fantastic *Hacks*. Also in the running are *The Studio*, *The Pitt*, and Hulu’s *Only Murders in the Building* and *The Bear*. The winners will be announced live from Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater, and Nate Bargatze is hosting, which should be great! You can catch it on CBS or stream it on Paramount+ if you want to watch. Unfortunately, if you don’t have access to either of those, you’ll miss out.

I was initially bummed to hear Gantu wouldn’t be in the live-action *Lilo & Stitch*, but after watching the movie, I didn’t miss him as much as I thought I would. Actually, I think the movie could have worked just fine without Cobra Bubbles too. It’s not that Courtney B. Vance did a bad job, but his character felt unnecessary because his role was changed for this new version of *Lilo & Stitch*.

The show’s executive producer recently told US Weekly that more surprise celebrity guests will appear later this season. She also has a list of dream guests she’d like to invite, including a well-known Emmy winner from HBO’s *The White Lotus*. According to the producer:

The original event was a short experience with opportunities to meet performers and basic stage effects. Now, the ceremony at Disney Springs expands on that idea, creating a bigger and more elaborate show.

Jeff Probst recently explained the thinking behind some casting decisions during an interview with TV Insider. While promoting the upcoming Survivor 49, he was asked about players from that season being selected for the special Season 50. The movie *Rogue Squadron*, initially announced in December 2020, is reportedly being made again at Lucasfilm. It was intended to be a new *Star Wars* film for theaters after a pause following the release of *The Rise of Skywalker*, with a planned release in 2023. However, the project was put on hold in 2022, and while it hadn’t been officially cancelled, updates were scarce. Now, it appears development is back on track.
